  1. Great post and photo! I have gotten to the party late….trying to catch up. Do you do this–when reading other people’s blogs–an assumed voice of that blogger reads the words in your head (does that make sense?). For your blog, the reader in my head was initially not American, but something European, then it switched to an American accent…now not sure. What is your accent? Must get my “reader” right 🙂

    • Oh that’s funny, the accent thing. I’m downright American dammit. What about your English? Is it English English or American English?

      • American English…but my dad’s family (paternal side) is Bermudian…craziest accent in the world (sorry family). Sounds like how I’d imagine a fat frog would sound or an alligator (if they used words). Not quite English English, not quite Caribbean (oops! I forgot–Bermuda is in the Atlantic–they are very particular about that distinction).

      • Sounds like a good stew you have, there. I’m a calico with the English French German treatment. Like the frog analogy, that’s sonic and visual all at once!

      • Ha. “A good stew” is what I will call myself from now on. 🙂 The other day this lady stopped me and said, “Where are you from? You look like you could be from anywhere!” Then this man at an art gallery said, “Stop right there. YOU are from another planet!” Ok. crazy nut…Must be my pointy ears. So very otherworldly. The “good stew” is really just many, many, many generations of black/white/Cherokee blended up like a Frapuccino.

      • Maybe you were that freaky time travelled to that art gallery dude just as the one was to you and there’s some pattern or underlying theme going on there, related to your magnesium levels.
