Anthony roasted a goose last night, and cooked apples in the fat along with Calvados and cinnamon. After taking it out of the oven, we put a bottle of Champagne in the cavity so that the heat of the bird would make the cork eject. But the bottle was too big and it wasn’t warming up right, so Kim had to push it in further to get it hot. With a pornographic twist, the cork snapped and shot Champagne all over the rug.
